Meesappuli Mala

Meesappulimala is at 8640 ft above sea level. Almost as high as the Anamudi; the highest peak in Kerala. It is Located in the Idukki district of Kerala, almost 27 Kilometers away from the iconic tourist spot of Kerala – Munnar; through Mattupetty – Aruvikkad Estate route to the

Base camp. You will reach Rhodo valley, a mystic place with rhododendron flowers blooms everywhere; after traveling 3 km from the base camp. There is a small pond on the Rhodo valley, Which adds to its mystic beauty. It is said that the pond is having species of small fishes that can live in temperatures below zero degrees. Pandavar cave is one of the attractions of Meesappuli mala. It is said to have a lot of bird Species in it. Overall it’s a developing Destination than a developed destination. The fact is that, it is more attractive than Munnar. Neelakkurinji also blooms here occasionally. Overall it will be a mind blowing experience.
