Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary

One area of the sanctuary  is located at Mutanga in  Wayanad district of  Kerala state. It is a part of  Nilgiri Biosphere region.

Distance:  From Kalpetta:  42kms.

From Sulthan Bathery:  17km.
From Mananthavady:  59kms

The best season to visit  is between Nov and May.

Commonly found wildlife are Elephants, Leopards, Gaur, Sambar, Cheeta, Barking deer, Hanuman Lengur, Tigers and Slender loris
